24x36"... Walking With the Light... She left the oasis she had created, and no longer needed. She left behind that place of suffering, of pain and emerged a warrior, walking with the light. She left with transparency, maturity, compassion, strength and wisdom. She had a new awareness of self worth.

"Natures Nursery", 20x24 oil on canvas. During this spring [2021] in particular, I noticed that there is an abundance of new life all around us, if we stop, look, and appreciate. What an incredible world we live in, if we will only take the time to notice, and accept our responsibility toward it. Notice life today!!

Oil on linen... I have come to love and be inspired by many of the women in various religions... Mary, Mary Magdalene, Quan Yen, Tara, too many to list. Although I am working on a traditional rendition of Mary and the Magdalene, I wanted to play around with the prospect of a Mary outside of the box. She is definitely out of the box on this one. Hope no one is offended, not my intention at all.
